Coach Jasmine brings a world of experience to the AFC club. She has been teaching and competing professionally for over 15 years. She is a native Iranian and grew up playing competitive tournaments in Asia and Europe, such as the national tournament (fed cup), ITF pro circuit (futures tournaments), and many other ITF Federations divisions in Sri Lanka, Kuwait, Malaysia, Thailand, Turkey, Tunisia, Canada, USA, and Iran.

 

Throughout her entire junior career she was a champion, with a number #1 ranking at ages 12, 14, 16, and 18 in Iran. During her time in Tehran she worked at many tennis clubs and sports complexes while pursuing degrees in physical education and sports, earning a Sports Science degree as a Tennis trainer and and a Bachelor's degree in physical education.

She now coaches and will start to play competitive singles leagues in the area. Jasmine has experience teaching both juniors and adults in all levels. She values every opportunity to be a mentor and role model. By using a game-based approach she promotes a positive environment, which teaches kids and adults to help each other and have fun in the process.  Her motto is that with proper footwork and movement, better tennis is easy to learn.
